Quite honestly, there were very few shows quite as entertaining as the Dean Martin Show. While we do carry inventory of many of the most popular shows worldwide, especially those exceedingly difficult to get series; one of our personal favourites still remains the Dean Martins Show.
The guy himself was exceedingly good looking, very charismatic and enigmatic. Rumour goes that even though many of the shows and series that he starred in were often very huge successes, his carefree style of living and very open wallet meant that he was still always struggling for cash.
You will find that over seventy percent of Dean Martin fans were probably of the female gender, he still received much adulation from the male population as well, as he was the epitome of coolness.
If you have never watched the Dean Martin Show, unless by active choice, then we would definitely highly recommend the Dean Martin DVD Collection as a must have and must see.
The entire season is very loosely edited - which while gaining him more fans, actually sees him swear multiple times in Italian over certain shows. You will catch all those moments well encapsulated on our DVD Collection.
What you won't see in the DVD is the trials and tribulations in his personal life. The Dean Martin show, while itself absolute entertainment, will probably not match the legend himself in real life. His real life mirrored his reel life in terms of ups and downs. He filed for multiple divorces in an exceedingly short time, and his life was at best described as turbulent.
Nonetheless, excepting the man's private life, his show is a must watch. If you have always wanted to learn the easy and hilarious ways in which you can hit on women, then the Dean Martin’s DVD Collection is an absolute must have. Of course, this is assuming you understand that Dean Martin probably got away with ninety percent of that because he was charming – you had better be sure you have that same laid back, half-drunk charm before attempting any of his crazy lines or stunts!
Interestingly, although not many of his fans know this, Dean Martin, when he was first starting out, actually sold tickets to audiences to watch him and a buddy slug it out bare fisted in his apartment, until one of them was knocked out. Till today, nobody really knows if all those fights were staged or genuine!
